When it comes to taking great photos there are a few simple steps that everyone should follow. These steps can help transform armature photos in to professional looking shoots with minimal effort.
- Lighting – lighting is one of the most important aspects of taking a good phot. Experiment with the flash on and off and make sure that your camera is set to the right setting i.e night scene etc. Most cameras allow you to click on a section within the frame that will adjust the light accordingly to make sure that the section you clicked is the focus point of the image.
- Angle – Changing the angle that you take the picture from can change the whole look of a photo. Sometimes people take photos from low down looking up, this is often good for landscape photos where you have high and low objects. This is not always good for taking pictures of people.
- Getting the right shoot first time is often not possible. When taking pictures always take a few shoots one after the other, especially if your image involves people as you may find that you get that perfect shoot second or third time.
